When you join one of our yoga classes – whether online or in person – you will be received wholeheartedly into a sacred place. A place for you to relax, unwind, energize, heal, and strengthen your mind, body, and spirit.

My Yoga Philosophy

Yoga, like life, is a journey. No two people experience yoga or life in the same way. We each bring our own unique collection of life experiences to the mat and must work through them in our own way.

It is my greatest blessing to share yoga with you and to encourage you along your path.

I’m dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where all students feel encouraged and safe to be truthful to themselves.

It is my hope that by empowering you to learn and know your body, that strength will bubble up and shine in the rest of your life!

Namaste! My name is Dulce – which in English, means “sweet.”

I am a certified yoga instructor  living in beautiful “Cabo” San Lucas,  Baja South, Mexico.

I have 500 hours of formal instruction in Vinyasa and Hatha yoga. And I have many more hours teaching trainings.

I offer in-person and online yoga classes to individuals and businesses. I am also available to host private events also outside Cabo, willing to travel. Just ask!

All of these  classes are available online, in Cabo San Lucas, or wherever you would like to host a private yoga retreat.

I teach individuals and small groups the practice of Vinyasa yoga. I can teach yoga at your home or workplace, locally or internationally.

GENTLE WAVES RESTORATIVE YOGA

For everyday and elite athletes, a practice for opening and healing the tired body.

This floor-based practice is both meditative and restorative. During class, you’ll practice long, passive holds and use props to aid in muscle relaxation.

Gentle Waves Yin Yoga class is soothes and heals sore muscles. Adding this class to your exercise routine helps speed up healing so you see better results and can enjoy more of what you love..

Frequently Asked Questions

Online yoga classes are similar to what you may have experienced in a shala, studio or gym. Here’s what you can expect from a typical Baja Moon Yoga virtual online yoga class.

  1. Join class with your own private Zoom link.
  2. We begin with breathing exercises to warm up the body and raise the heart rate.
  3. We transition to mobility exercises to prepare the joints for asanas.
  4. Asana practice.
  5. Savasana and end of class.

To join an online yoga class, you will need the following equipment:

A smartphone with a rear-facing camera or a laptop with a web camera.

You will not need any special yoga equipment to attend class. However, the following items are recommended:

You may want to purchase a comfortable yoga mat.

Fitted clothing that allows you to move freely is highly recommended.

Some individuals will benefit from the use of yoga props like blocks, straps, towels, blankets, or pillows. We will occasionally use props in class. But none of that is necessary to begin practicing yoga online.

We will use light weights during some classes to increase the intensity of the yoga session. But you can use things like soup cans or bags filled with rice instead!

The duration of a yoga class is dependent upon what YOU want! Most classes are 55 minutes long. I find this is the perfect amount of time for most students. It allows us time to warm up, find a flow, and properly close out the class.

Yoga classes can be shortened to 30 or 45 minutes to fit into your lunch hour.

Some classes may last as long as 90 minutes.

To attend a good online yoga class you will need to download Zoom on your smartphone or laptop. (link “download Zoom” to the Zoom download page)

Follow the instructions on Zoom to test your audio and video.

When class starts, open the Zoom application and enter your ID to join. (please contact me directly or DM to send you the link or it will be available after purchase)

From that point forward, an online yoga class is much the same as a studio yoga class.

I will make sure you can see how and hear me. I may ask you to back up or move closer to your camera so I can coach you during our session.

I keep a close eye on all students and will offer advice and suggestions as needed.
